Welcome to Leader in Training!
Build leadership skills and develop confidence with our Leadership Training Program.
The Leader in Training (LIT) Program is designed for campers aged 12-15. The program meets Monday through Friday from 8:45AM until 4:00PM at South Base Lodge, Blue Mountain. Each LIT will be assigned to a group with one experienced camp counsellor as the LIT Point Person. Under the guidance of counsellors, LIT’s will participate in a leadership capacity, facilitating crafts, games and activities once prepared. All LIT’s should expect to be challenged by new situations such as: monitoring lunches, leading activities, practicing conflict resolution and encouraging campers through challenges. Through teamwork, collaboration, and leadership initiatives we will provide a safe environment to practice new skills every day here at camp!
