The Blue Mountain Inn is the only fully dog-friendly hotel on property. The Westin Trillium House also offers a limited number of dog-friendly rooms. The hotel must be informed in advance of arrival if the registered guest intends to bring a dog. The following policies apply to guests accompanied by a dog:

The Blue Mountain Inn is the only fully dog-friendly hotel on property. The Westin Trillium House also offers a limited number of dog-friendly rooms. The hotel must be informed in advance of arrival if the registered guest intends to bring a dog. The following policies apply to guests accompanied by a dog:
- The fee for a dog-friendly reservation is an additional $50.00 plus taxes per stay. Guests are also responsible for any additional costs incurred for excessive cleaning or damage caused by the dog during the stay. Cats and any other pets are not permitted at Blue Mountain Resort.
- Upon arrival, the dog must be present on a leash at check-in. Biting or aggressive dogs are not allowed, regardless of muzzle guard or cage. Dogs require all of their rabies shots and must be free of fleas and ticks. Papers may be requested, showing up-to-date immunization records or a rabies tag that is no older than one year. A cell phone number or other means of contact must be provided at the time of check-in. If the dog is left unattended in the room, the owner must advise front desk of approximate time of return.
- The dog must be on a leash or in a carrier while in the hotel common areas (ie. corridors, elevators, lobby, etc). Dogs are not permitted in service or recreation areas including the pool, fitness area, restaurants, bars, spas or on resort shuttles.
- Dogs must be kept in a kennel when left unattended in the suite. Kennel rentals are available upon request at arate of $10 plus tax per night.
- For the convenience of our canine guests, the area to the south of the front entrance of the Blue Mountain Inn will be equipped with additional waste disposal bags. This area is conveniently accessed from the south stairwell.
- Housekeeping services cannot be provided when a dog is present in the rented room. Guests may inform the Front Desk of a convenient time to provide daily housekeeping service: the owner will either be present at this time, or will remove the dog from the room during housekeeping. Employees will not service a room while the dog is present.
- Dogs are not permitted on the furniture or beds in guest rooms.
- Dog owners must conform to the Dog Owners Liability Act (DOLA) and abide by its laws and regulations including laws pertaining to restricted breeds and dangerous/aggressive dogs. In the event that a dog behaves in a way that is disruptive or otherwise uncontrolled, Blue Mountain Resort may, at its own discretion, restrict a dog from entering the Blue Mountain Inn or remove a dog where the dog owner is not present. In such cases, the guest will be responsible for any costs incurred.
