Village or South?

Village: Activity Central

The Village Learning Centre is located beside Activity Central, in the heart of Blue Mountain Resort. Private Lessons and Adult Group Lessons are available here. Performance Skis and Performance Snowboard Rentals can only be redeemed at this location.

South Base Lodge

South Base Lodge is home to Kids Group Lessons and Group lessons, available on Weekends & Holidays throughout the winter season. This Lodge also hosts a Guest Services and Rentals Location. If you wish to sign up for a Kids Group Lesson, South Base Lodge is your ideal place to be. Typically, for a faster pick up, choose South Base Lodge as your rental pickup location.

What's included with my rentals?

Rentals include skis (and poles for Adults) or snowboard, boots, and a helmet.

What size boots and poles are offered?

Ski poles are available in the following sizes: 115cm, 120cm, and 125cm.
Women's ski or snowboard boots are available in US sizes 5 to 10.
Men's ski or snowboard boots are available in US sizes 6 to 12.

Are helmets mandatory?

Helmets are mandatory in all Snow School lessons for participants who are 17 years of age and younger and are strongly encouraged for all other skiers or snowboarders.

Can I rent a jacket, goggles, or gloves?

Unfortunately, we do not rent out these items. Please ensure that you have everything you need to ski and snowboard, including pants, jackets, goggles and gloves before you leave home or purchase them at one of our retail locations.

Do I need to schedule a rental pickup appointment?

Yes! Access to the rental building will be limited to guests with a rental pickup appointment. Appointments will make for a more seamless process, so you can spend less time getting fitted and more time on the slopes. The rental pickup appointment portal to book appointments will open prior to the start of the winter season.

Can I rent just skis?

Only Performance Skis are sold as individual rentals and are available at Activity Central. This option cannot be purchased online. Note: your boots must be indemnified (heels and toes measured) to rent performance skis.

Can I rent just a snowboard?

Unfortunately, individual snowboards cannot be purchased on their own. Snowboard rentals are only available in full rentals or bundles which includes men's or women's snowboards, boots, helmet & poles.

Ski rentals are Rossignol.

What do I do with my equipment if I have a multi-day rental?

You may keep your rentals for the duration chosen for multi-day rentals and they do not need to be returned during rest days. For example, 2 of 3 Day Ski Rentals are valid for 2 of 3 days allowing for one rest day within a 3-day consecutive period, if desired.

How long does it take to pick up rental equipment?

Processing times vary; however, we recommend allowing at least 1 hour to pick up your equipment from the time of your rental pickup appointment.

Price plus HST. Youth aged 5-17 years old at time of purchase. 8-Hour rentals valid for 8 hours from the time of pickup. Night rentals are valid from 3:30PM-9PM. 2 of 3 days allow for one rest day within a 3-day consecutive period, if desired. 3 of 4 days allow for one rest day within a 4-day consecutive period, if desired. 4 of 5 days allow for one rest day within a 5-day consecutive period, if desired. Rentals do not need to be returned during the rest day.

Rentals can be refunded if done more than 3 days prior to planned day of use by contacting refund@bluemountain.ca, and are non-refundable within 3 days of planned use. Resale is prohibited. Opening Day and Closing Day will be determined at the sole discretion of Blue Mountain Resort. All hours of operation are weather and conditions permitting, and are subject to change. Rental items are available in various sizes and lengths and are based on availability.

Blue Mountain Resorts LP utilizes AI software to detect fraudulent transactions for products and services purchased at BlueMountain.ca. Any situation where a credit card has been used fraudulently will be reported to law enforcement. All transactions, including the ones processed via third parties, may be subject to additional review at time of fulfillment to determine acceptance.
