Ready to turn your group chat into rewards? The Blue Mountain Student Referral Program is your opportunity to bring your friends to work and make a little something extra. If your referred candidate meets the criteria, you could be in for a treat with a $350 Student Referral Bonus!

Eligible students, 14-18 years old, who refer qualified candidates for employment with Blue Mountain Resort may be eligible to receive the Student Referral Bonus if the candidate meets the required criteria.

Referring Employee: a student and Blue Mountain employee recommending someone as a viable and qualified candidate for employment at Blue Mountain.

Referred candidate or “referral”: a student who has not yet been a Blue Mountain employee and who has been recommended by a student and an already active Blue Mountain employee as a viable and qualified candidate.

The Student Referral Bonus is equal to the gross amount of $350 per eligible referral.

Bonuses will be paid on the first pay cycle following the end of the season the program is active. The payment will be applied to the employee’s regular payroll subject to all applicable tax and deductions.

Referring employees must meet the following criteria to be eligible to receive the bonus:
  • Referring employees must be between ages of 14-18 at time of employment to be eligible for bonus.
  • The referring employee must be employed by Blue Mountain Resort on the payment date following the season of the program to receive the Student Referral Bonus.
  • Referring employees must work until the end of the winter season up to and including the date of payment and must be in good standing for payment to be issued.

  • Referred candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Referrals are only valid for student candidates who have not yet been hired. All referrals must be submitted prior to the application process commencing.
  • Eligible referrals must be between ages of 14-18 at time of employment.
  • Referred candidate must work until end of the winter season up to an including the date of payment and must be in good standing for payment to be issued.
  • Employees can refer an eligible candidate for the program through Workday. For details on how to refer a candidate in workday visit the Workday Help Library or contact Human Resources for more information
