Village: Activity Central

The Village Learning Centre is located beside Activity Central, in the heart of Blue Mountain Resort. Private Lessons and Adult Group Lessons are available here.



South Base Lodge

South Base Lodge is home to Kids Group Lessons and Group lessons, available on Weekends & Holidays throughout the winter season. This Lodge also hosts a Guest Services and Rentals Location. If you wish to sign up for a Kids Group Lesson, South Base Lodge is your ideal place to be. Typically, for a faster pick up, choose South Base Lodge as your rental pick up location.

Beginner Bundle

The Beginner Lift Ticket gives you access to the two Learning Centre areas at Blue Mountain, which are indicated in light green on the Winter Map.
Rentals include skis (and poles) or snowboard, boots, and a helmet.
  • Ski poles are available in the following sizes: 115cm, 120cm, and 125cm.
  • Women's ski or snowboard boots are available in US sizes 5 to 10.
  • Men's ski or snowboard boots are available in US sizes 6 to 12
Helmets are mandatory in all Snow School lessons for participants who are 17 years of age and younger and strongly encouraged for all lesson participants.
Unfortunately, we do not rent out these items. Please ensure that you have everything you need to ski and snowboard, including pants, jackets, goggles and gloves before you leave home or purchase them at one of our retail locations.
Yes! Access to the rental building will be limited to guests with a rental pickup appointment. Appointments will make for a more seamless process, so you can spend less time getting fitted and more time on the slopes.
Beginner Bundle with Ski Lesson or Beginner Bundle with Snowboard Lesson are available to purchase, which includes an Adult Beginner Group Lesson, rentals and a beginner lift ticket.

If you're brand new to skiing or snowboarding or looking to get back into the sport with confidence, we've got you! Snow How is our self-learn resource to help you on and off the mountain to master the know-how of skiing or snowboarding. It includes helpful tips on preparing for your trip such as what to wear, video demonstrations for beginners, or on-resort step-by-step instructions to help you build your skills.

Price + HST. Beginner Bundle can be refunded if done more than 3 days prior to planned day of use by contacting refund@bluemountain.ca, and are non-refundable within 3 days of planned use. Resale is prohibited. Opening Day and Closing Day will be determined at the sole discretion of Blue Mountain Resort. All hours of operation are weather and conditions permitting, and are subject to change.


All products are subject to a 1% Village Amenity Fee. This fee is also subject to local tax (HST @ 13%). This Fee is collected by Blue Mountain Resorts LP in order to cover our sales royalty fees to Blue Mountain Village Association (BMVA) which provides a number of visitor amenities and programming available throughout the Village.
