Skiing and Snowboarding
It may seem like a no brainer for a ski resort, but there are plenty of people who stay with us in the winter who have never been on the hills. If you’re one of them, why not give it a try? The perfect way to spend a day or night! Blue Mountain has 36 trails and 15 lifts in total including 4 high-speed, six-person chairs for day skiing. There are 25 trails available for night skiing and 12 lifts under the lights. Enjoy an equal balance of beginner, intermediate and expert terrain.
Discover Skiing and Snowboarding Circuit
Never tried skiing or snowboarding before but have always wanted to? Or maybe you’ve been away from the sport and need to be reacquainted. Let this be your year! Our Discover Skiing and Snowboard Circuit contain learning stations to help guide you through the essentials of skiing and snowboarding. Our ski and snowboard pros will help you build your skills! We have over 300 on staff!
After you’ve successfully completed the Discover Skiing and Snowboarding Circuit, try the Full Mountain Experience Program, which takes you to the top of the mountain to fine-tune your skills on the more intermediate terrain.
Our Daily Programs help you learn at your own pace. In addition to the Discover Skiing and Snowboarding Circuit and Full Mountain Experience Programs, there are 60 and 90 Minute Private Lessons for able and disabled guests of all ages and skill levels.
We also have a number of programs designed for all ages and skill levels including 9-Week Ski & Snowboard for all ages, Adult Performance Training & Race, Jozo Weider Racing, 10-Week Park & Pipe and Kids at Blue Mountain.

Whether it's snowboarding, free skiing or just hanging out with friends, TELUS Park is your home base! TELUS Park boasts a super pipe and is serviced by its own chairlift. Explore the Georgian Trail
Founded in 1989, the Georgian Trail is a linear park, a ribbon of green that travels from the Town of Collingwood, through the Village of Thornbury to the Town of Meaford and is the perfect place for an uncomplicated cross-country ski or snowshoe. It follows the route of the original Northern Railway along the southern shore of Georgian Bay. Each kilometre throughout the trail is signed and maps are located at major access points. Highlands Nordic
Highlands Nordic is located 10km South of Collingwood off HWY. No. 124, and provides a beautiful facility for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and tobogganing. Rentals and lessons are available for classic and skate-ski styles and trail passes are available for those who have their own equipment.
